Refund Policy

At Velogs we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for payments processed through our payment provider Paddle (paddle.com). Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record, meaning they handle all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance on our behalf.
1. Free Trial
Every new Velogs account includes a 14-day Pro trial at no charge. No credit card is required during the trial period. If you decide not to continue, simply let the trial expire β no action and no payment is required.
2. Eligibility for a Refund
You may request a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of the initial payment or renewal date.
- You have not made excessive use of Pro features during the billing period (e.g. bulk data export, OCR scanning of more than 5 receipts, or generating more than 10 recurring reminders).
- This is your first refund request on the account.
Refunds are granted at our sole discretion for renewals beyond the first billing cycle. We evaluate each case individually and encourage you to contact us before your renewal date if you no longer wish to continue.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the payment date.
- Partial months - subscriptions are billed in full monthly or annual cycles.
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- Purchases of annual plans after more than 30 days have elapsed since the purchase date.
- Situations where the refund would result in a negative balance or abuse of the free-trial system.
4. How to Request a Refund

Please include your registered email address and the date of the payment in question. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
All approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Refund processing times vary by bank or card issuer but typically appear within 5β10 business days. Velogs has no control over your bank's processing timelines once the refund has been initiated by Paddle.
6. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are two separate actions. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page inside the app. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically issue a refund for the current billing period. If you also wish to receive a refund, please submit a separate refund request as described in Section 4.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks create administrative overhead and may result in the immediate suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving all billing issues fairly and promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Velogs after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
